Maud Quaedvlieg organises regular workshops and courses locally and abroad.

Workshops and courses are held at her studio in The Netherlands or at the Volksuniversiteit 'De Brede Aa' in Breda.

Painting in France,

La Basse Maza is situated in one of the most beautiful and most pitouresque areas of France.

You will paint on location or in the tranquil environment of the small town of la Basse Maza.
Normally you can work with different techniques and materials such as charcoal, siberian chalk, east-indian ink, pastels etc. and paint with acryl, aquarel or eggtempera.

Furthermore you can enjoy the rugged nature and the mild climate.

During spring 2010, a paintweek is planned from Mai 22 thru Mai 28. The accent will be painting on acryl in an expressive fashion. All kinds of techniques will be featured indepth, such as transparency and cover techniques, layering in combination with different materials such as paper, chalk, charcoal and sand.
Those weeks, the usage of colours to create expression will get special attention.

The town is located at an altitude of approximately 482 metres and consists of 6 authentic French houses with a modern interior.
Every house is equipped with a modern kitchen. The bathrooms feature a shower, a sink and a toilet. Every house has its own terracce with a view of the beautiful nature.

There is plenty of oppertunities to go for a stroll. It is an ideal place for anyone who loves peace and nature.
The nearest town is the city of St. Sauveur de Montagut, which is located at 7 km. distance.
